About avalpdf

avalpdf is a small workshop of PDF tools. Merge a stack of invoices, pull three pages out of a contract, shrink a scan so it fits an email — the everyday jobs that somehow always need a website.

The difference is where the work happens. Most PDF sites send your file to a server, process it there, and hand you a link. We do all of it inside your browser tab. Your contract, your medical scan, your tax return: they stay on your machine, because they never get sent anywhere.

What that changes

• No account, no email address, no waiting in a queue.
• No file-size upload limit — only what your device can comfortably handle.
• Nothing to delete afterwards, because nothing was ever stored.
• It works on a patchy connection, and keeps working once the page has loaded.

And the honest limits

A few jobs genuinely need a server: turning a PDF back into an editable Word file, recognising text in a scan, laying out a spreadsheet. Rather than pretend, we list those tools as not ready and explain why. Everything you can click and use today really does work.

avalpdf is free. If a tool trips over one of your files, tell us — awkward files are how tools get better.

Who makes it

avalpdf is built and maintained independently in Tamil Nadu, India. Every tool is tested against real-world files — bank statements, scanned forms, exam-portal uploads — and we publish practical guides alongside the tools to explain what is happening inside your PDF.

How it is funded

The tools are free for everyone and supported by advertising. Ads never sit between you and your download, and there are no paid tiers or daily limits.
